Knights shortstop Frank Matteson was named to the Skyline League All-Star team Friday. Matteson entered the final weekend of the regular season with a .436 batting average and a mind-numbing .733 slugging percentage. Matteson's 3 HR and 30 RBI on the season represent both personal and franchise records.
The inaugural All-Star game between the Skyline and St. Paul Leagues (Class A) will be played on Tuesday, August 10 at Dunning Stadium in St. Paul. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
