Don't Call it a Comeback

After suffering a tough loss earlier in the week partially because of a disappearing strike zone in the 9th inning, the Knights bats come alive late and award the team with their 6th win of the season. It was good to return the favor and even out the season record with the New Hope Athletics who play some tough baseball.

Pitching was dominate for most of the game only allowing 2 earned runs in 9 innings, striking out 7, and allowing 6 hits. The depth of this staff is looking better and better each game as the season continues.

On the offense side, the Knights had 10 batters with hits in the game combining for 11 total. Shawn Rasmussen being the only batter to tally 2 on the day. Veteran player Doug Hoffman continues his 2013 tear moving his batting average up to .750 and his on base percentage up to .800.

Next up the 6-5 Knights travel to take on league rival FanHQ at Bethel University. 6:15pm start.
