The 2-0 (7-5) Knights host the 1-0 (4-3) Class A State Champions Stockmen's Irish tonight in White Bear Township at 8:00pm. This is a big game for the Knights where they hope to wake up their bats and get some offense going early to support their pitching. Good defense will keep the game close and give the Knights a chance to take down one of the top teams in State and prove they are a team not to be taken lightly in 2012.
To show how dedicated the defense needs to be to make plays this season, Ryan Meehan, purposely takes infield practice with no glove and uses his face to field ground balls and his teeth to make throws from second to first. The younger players can learn a lot from Ryan's example.
