New comer Shane Moore had his first start on the mound in a Knights' uniform going up against one of the top ranked teams in state, the Savage Outlaws. Shane did not get intimidated and kept Savage off balance for 7 innings allowing only 2 runs, one of them earned. The wheels fell off in the 8th after a couple more errors and the game became out of reach after a 3 run home run by Savage. The Knights held their own against a great team and a lot of positives came out of the game especially the outting from Shane Moore. The Knights pitching staff gets even deeper as the season goes on.
