Trobec Pitches Complete Game
After getting their butts kicked their first match-up earlier in the season, the Knights were out looking for revenge. Chris Trobec arrived at the game not expecting to pitch on the day but after learning that a plane had fallen from the sky and crashed into Rick Caldecott's car on the way to the game, he would ask for the ball and would refuse to give it up. "Give me the ball coach. I'm going to win this one for Ricky!" he was heard saying before the first inning got under way.
Chris would run into control problem in the second inning and would allow 3 runs to cross home plate, mostly on free passes. That would be the one shadow in his remarkable pitching performance on a beautifully sunny day.
