Knights let Irish off hook
The Knights took an early lead behind some great pitching by ace
Christian Zellner, unfortunately, defense let the Knights pitcher down
again and one bad inning full of errors was enough for the Irish to come
back and run away with the game. The Knights would commit 5 errors in
the game which would be the deciding factor.
The Knights out hit
and out pitched the Irish, but the W didn't come with it. But there
were many things to be positive about in the game: The Knights showed
they can play with anyone this year. They are a much better team than
their record shows and need to learn how to put teams away and not fall
back into their old ways. Overall, a good game overshadowed by one bad
inning. Hats off to Christian Zellner on shutting down the Irish's high
powered offense.
