The Knights lost 10-17 against the Blaine Fusion in a high scoring affair that had many ups and downs. For the second game in a row the Knights had more hits than their opponents but defense and pitching kept them from running away with the game. 5 errors were committed in the field and 11 walks were issued. The Knights 10 runs on 16 hits weren't enough to surpass the free passes given to the Fusion who knew how to take advantage of opportunities. For the second straight game Frank Matteson was able to go 4-5 (with a triple,double, and two singles). Ryan Meehan and Nate Klecker also had great nights at the plate both going 3-5 each with an RBI. Steve Thompson had a second straight multi hit game (2-4) scoring 2 runs for the Knights. Brandon Walzer also had a good night going 2-5 and working deep counts in every at bat.
